To provide a series of MINT Museum of Toys exclusive creative & design workshops aimed at helping learners rediscover multi-racial heritage, history & arts as well as diverse cultures through the museum’s world-class toy collection the MINT Museum of Toys is collaborating with First Media Design School, an accredited training institution specializing in design education.
The MINT Museum of Toys’ learning journey for students of all ages is tailored to the learning outcomes of schools. Students will rediscover Singapore’s history, learn about art, culture, and design, and engage in creative activities through the use of toys.
Who, after all, does not like toys? Students in pre-kindergarten through high school can embark on an exciting journey outside the classroom and expand their horizons with never-before-seen toys.
At the MINT Museum of Toys, they believe that toys have the power to give people of all ages a glimpse into the distant past and teach them valuable lessons applicable to the present. To honor the spirit of play and enjoyment embodied by these toys, their learning journeys for Singaporean students incorporate experiential learning activities that remain engaging and enjoyable.
These activities are age-appropriate and come in a variety of formats so that children can explore the deeper meanings of their toys. Pre-schoolers can anticipate sensory activities such as arts and crafts to keep their young minds engaged throughout the program, whereas older elementary and secondary students can visit our museum for a closer look at our collections.
